Fallout 3 Broken Steel DLC Now Available

Fallout 3 (one of the best games of last year) is coming out with yet another DLC expansion on PC and Xbox 360. While I have to admit I sent my copy of Fallout 3 back to Gamefly after I beat it and have not played any of the expansions, I’m still pretty impressed with all the expansions that Bethesda has been releasing to keep their game alive and Fallout fans happy. Those of you that still have your copy of the game can purchase the DLC for 800 MS Points ($10).

Call of Duty: World at War is holding on to the #1 spot for the second week in a row after the release of its latest map pack, while Resident Evil 5 slipped and Gears of War 2 has started climbing the chart due to last weeks big patch update. After an impressive initial showcasing at the E3 Expo in 2005; Huxley, an FPSMMORPG (first person shooter massive multiplayer online role playing game) that uses the Unreal Engine 3 and was once said to be the game that would revolutionize the MMO industry has fallen off the map. Huxley mixes the gameplay components of FPSs like Unreal Tournament 3 and MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and Anarchy Online. Click the jump for more information and video of the walkthrough. (more…)

Honestly, there is only one reason that you must have Prototype and that’s because it looks badass. When I first saw trailers for this game I was speechless. I want to say this game looks like Grand Theft Auto on crack… but Crackdown was the result of Grand Theft Auto on crack. This game is far beyond Crackdown. Prototype looks like Grand Theft Auto on acid. Prototype comes out this June and if you haven’t seen or heard about this game, I strongly suggest checking the HD for the top ten reasons you must have Prototype after the break. (more…)

Resident Evil 5 Killed by Dated Controls and Lack of Features

Four years ago I played Resident Evil 4 and was blown away. Not only did the game breathe new life into the Resident Evil series, but it took a risk with a new camera style that previous 3rd person shooters had never thought to use. The risk turned out to be well worth it as Resident Evil 4 went on to win multiple Game of the Year awards and the over the shoulder camera style became the new standard in 3rd person shooters. Game developer CliffyB (Cliff Belinski) even cited Resident Evil 4’s over the shoulder style as one of the key inspirations in the making of the now infamous Gears of War franchise. (more…)
