This midnight release is of course the highest grossing of all time, taking the number one spot from the previous holder The Twilight Saga: New Moon which brought in $26.3 million back in November 2009 and took the title from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince‘s $20 million.

Anyways, this year wasn’t as bad as usual with tons of uncensored f-bombs and even a couple funny moments, mainly Tom Cruise reprising his role from Tropic Thunder as the eccentric studio executive Les Grossman. Cruise should always pretend to be Les Grossman, it would be a lot funnier and somehow less crazy then how he usually acts.
