Call of Duty: World at War is holding on to the #1 spot for the second week in a row after the release of its latest map pack, while Resident Evil 5 slipped and Gears of War 2 has started climbing the chart due to last weeks big patch update. Call of Duty: WaW has regained the top spot after the release of its Map Pack 1 last week. Gears of War 2 has slipped to the #5 spot, yet with the release of the Title Update 3 patch today and the map pack on the 31st, I’m betting Gears of War 2 will make a run for the #1 spot over the next two weeks. It’s hard to believe, but after a year and a half Halo 3 is still topping the Xbox Live most played list. I’d expect Gears of War 2 to take the number 3 spot once the multiplayer Title Update 3 patch update is released on March 24th. (more…)
