Recently there have been rumors that Duke Nukem developer 3D Realms could be shutting down. Earlier today, Joe Siegler from the 3D Realms staff officially confirmed these rumors on the 3D Realms forums. Does this mean that Duke Nukem is finally dead? The studio has been in charge of producing the game Duke Nukem Forever for over 10 years now. While the studio released new screenshots of the game last year, the game still looked to be far from completion. The fate of Duke Nukem is still up in the air, but as of now things don’t look good and it looks like there won’t be any more ass kicking from good old Duke now that he’s not only out of bubblegum but funding too.
