    IGN has released probably the most impressive April Fool’s Day fake news story so far today claiming that Nintendo is prepping a new ‘Expand’ service for the Wii and a new bloody update to Super Smash Bros.     Blizzard always likes having fun on April Fool’s Day by releasing fake news on new World of Warcraft content in development and this year is no different. Last year Blizzard announced plans to release a console version of Molten Core, this year Blizzard has announced two new World of Warcraft features allowing players to pimp their mounts and a new Dance Battle System.     Well it’s April 1, 2009 and like always game developers have started having their April Fool’s Day fun by releasing all sorts of bogus news information. Guerilla Games has announced via their official site that:

    It looks like the cat’s out of the bag: yes, it’s now possible to play as Visari in the Killzone 2 multiplayer mode. Several players spotted the Helghast head honcho online following the v1.21 update, and the Internet has been rife with speculation since.

    There are also two button combinations listed on the site that supposedly unlock the characters Radec and Visari. Obviously these codes do not work when entered and this is all part of a April Fool’s joke. There is even a link on the site to see “video of the new multiplayer characters in action” however it is not a video of gameplay and instead a video that says “You’ve been Killzoned!!” Click the jump to see the video.
