Nick Fury is part of SHIELD, which was present in most of the movie, and since the Ultimate Nick Fury is based off of Smauel L. Jackson, it was only logical since the new films seem to take place in the Ultimates continuity. BTW, if you look carefully you will be able to see Captain America in the BEGINNING CREDITS of Incredible Hulk. Not sure what happens after the end credits, but I guess we'll find out on Friday, won't we :) not really random at all.
