Maybe if they stayed true to the anime… yes, but if that was the case piccolo should have spit out a copy of himself.
And the movie probably wouldn't have sucked so badly.

true that i had my hopes for this movie but they were dashed…..movie with alot of potential just got fucking raped by FOX. Dont blame the actors blame the writers and director and the company.

To me it was a great idea horribly executed. Had they had Piccolo burst out from the rubble and act like a madman would have been a good idea. But here he rolls over in bed like a 6 year old being waken up for school.

Ya know its kind of hard to fit all the information they needed to, into 2 hours or less. They had to change some things. Although the whole point of piccollo was he split into and the evil part was destroyed. Among other things in the movie that made me upset. All in all though it was cool.

im a DBZ fan and i enjoyed the movie.
i was realistic about how it was going to turn out.
of course its not going to match up against the actual show!
i'm glad that it had some of the old humor from dbz.
u guys are idiots to have expected more

Ugh i just watched the movie and really it had potential but it was horrible! The casting for parts wasn’t that bad i still woulda liked Goku to be a little more happy go lucky and wtf? he goes to school? that disappointed me it would’ve been SOOO cool if they stuck to the anime…but hey i liked Bulma
but not too crazy about Chi Chi. And don’t mean to be a stickler or anything but the effects were ok…it didn’t really blow me away. the action was pretty dull when it came to the final battle between piccolo and goku i mean i wanted to see ppl get smashed through rocks and kamehamehas that didn’t look like smoke…
