By now you’ve probably noticed that things look a little different on the site. We’re proud to announce that MovieStinger v4 is live with a new look and many new features. Not only have we redesigned the site, but we’ve also launched a brand new Facebook fan page. Be sure to become a fan of MovieStinger and suggest MovieStinger to your friends!

While the new version of MovieStinger is live, there are still many small tweaks that need to be made, so please bare with us if you notice any pages that look a little weird. We have over 500 articles in our database and are working our best to convert all of them to match the new style of our site.

It’s official, MovieStinger has just entered into the terrible twos!

After an amazing year, MovieStinger continues to grow in popularity amongst hardcore film fans and casual moviegoers. Just one year ago we had 15,000 unique visitors. With the help of our fans spreading the word and being featured on some of the internet’s best sites such as Gizmodo and Lifehacker, we now have over 150,000 unique visitors who have accumulated 500,000 pageviews!

And what birthday isn’t complete without something shiny and new?

That is why we are proud to announce that MovieStinger is teaming up with Apple’s iTunes! Users can now search MovieStinger for what songs play during the credits of their favorite movies and download those songs directly from the iTunes store. Users can also submit information about songs that they don’t see listed on the site’s song database.

We’d like the give a special thanks to all the contributors who have submitted stingers and commented on post, without you the site wouldn’t be where it is today!

It’s been one year since MovieStinger.com was launched and the site has come a long way since its debut. We’ve added many new features such as the ability for users to comment, vote and even have their own custom avatars. We’re not even close to done with all the idea’s we have and plan to add many more great user features in the future.
