One of the biggest surprises of this years Spike Video Game Awards (besides that they actually picked the right Game of the Year) was the announcement that after just releasing Batman: Arkham Asylum back in August, Rocksteady Studios has already starting working on a sequel. It was officially announced during the beginning of the show with a trailer showing a sickly Joker recovering from the events of the first game in a rundown carnival. Gotham City is also shown in the trailer with the tag-line “Arkham Has Moved.” Hit the jump for the full trailer.
